How does Yanai Health Work?

Yanai Health is a healthcare coordination and care-management platform. We bring together trusted nurses, doctors, pharmacies, and laboratories to support continuous health monitoring and preventive care, particularly for chronic conditions such as hypertension and diabetes.
We provide structured check-ins, medication coordination, and preventive screenings, while clinical services are delivered by our partner providers.
Where hospital care is required, access to acute inpatient hospital cover is included through a third-party underwriting partner, Golden Knot Financial Holdings, which assumes and administers all inpatient risk. Yanai Health does not act as an insurer or insurance intermediary.
Our role is to coordinate care, improve health outcomes, and ensure families have predictable access to essential healthcare services

Is there an age limit?

 Whether you are 25, 55, or 85, we believe health protection shouldn’t have an expiry date. If you are alive and breathing, you deserve care and Yanai Health has a solution for you.

Is there a waiting period before services start?

Accepted Answer

Our chronic care services, such as nurse follow-ups, doctor check-ups, medication coordination, and preventive screening, start immediately and follow your annual health journey timeline (available under the How It Works section).
Access to acute inpatient hospital care is subject to a short eligibility period:
 • ⏳ 6 months — if you are under 65 years and have no existing chronic condition
 • ⏳ 12 months — if you are 65 years or older, or already managing a chronic condition
This helps ensure the programme remains fair and sustainable for everyone.

When can inpatient (hospital) support be accessed?

Accepted Answer

Access to inpatient hospital support applies when a hospital admission lasts 48 hours or longer.
If you are treated in the emergency department and discharged on the same day, this is considered outpatient care and managed under outpatient services instead.
In short: two nights or more qualifies as an inpatient admission.

What does the inpatient cover NOT include?

Your inpatient benefits won’t cover:
 🚫 Injuries or sickness from attempted suicide
 🚫 Sickness from drug addiction or substance abuse
 🚫 Injuries during illegal activities
 🚫 Cases where important health info was hidden or falsified
 🚫 Any fraudulent or dishonest claims

What can I use my outpatient allowance for?

Think of it as your minor illness & monitoring pot 💊
 It covers:
 ✅ Clinic visits for minor or acute illnesses
 ✅ Outpatient medication (e.g. antibiotics, painkillers)
 ✅ Disease monitoring tools: glucometers, BP machines, test strips, etc.
Basically — small problems solved early so they don’t become big ones later.

What happens if my annual medication costs are higher than my package limit?

Simple — we calculate the shortfall and you choose how to handle it:

That way, your medication never runs out, and your care plan stays on track — predictable, transparent, and stress-free.

If you complete a full year without needing inpatient hospital care or frequent outpatient interventions, you may be eligible (based on clinical discretion) for a complimentary preventive service, such as an additional screening or dental check-up.
